Why trust a site that earns commission

You should not, by default.
So we made it checkable.

Most review sites hide the affiliate relationship in a footer nobody reads and publish a score with no working shown. We do the opposite, because a scoring system you can audit is the only version of this that is worth anything.

  • The rubric and its weights are published, and every score breaks down into it.
  • Three relationship labels — we own this, pays us commission, no relationship — on every review, above the score.
  • Three evidence tiers, so we never imply we tested something we only read about.
  • Our own merchant cash advance scores 68.0/100 and its review tells you to try a bank first.
  • Corrections are made in place and noted, not quietly deleted.

Questions

About this site.

What is MySmallBusiness.us?

An independent review site for the things small businesses actually pay for — funding, phone handling, benefits, payments, software, insurance, marketing and legal filings. We score products against a published five-criteria rubric and state our commercial relationship on every review.

How do you make money?

Three ways, and every review says which one applies. We own two of the products we cover and profit if you buy them. Some links pay us affiliate commission at no extra cost to you. Many products we cover pay us nothing at all. The rubric is fixed and published so a score can be checked against it.

Do you review products that do not pay you?

Yes, and we intend to review far more of them. A comparison containing only advertisers is a directory, not a comparison.

Are the calculators free?

Yes, and none of them require an email address to return a result. Every constant used is displayed on screen and sourced.

How do you score products?

Five weighted criteria: value for money (25%), pricing honesty (25%), small business fit (20%), support and exit terms (15%), and evidence quality (15%). Each is scored 0–10 and combined into a score out of 100. Full rubric at /methodology.

Can I suggest a product or category?

Yes. Every category page has a request link. We prioritise things small businesses are being actively sold, especially where the real price is hidden behind a sales call.

Coverage requests

What are you about to buy?

Tell us what you are being sold and we will review it. Especially the ones where you cannot find the price without a sales call.

Independent reviews, calculators and guides for the things small businesses actually pay for. We publish our scoring rubric, we say who pays us on every page, and we tell you when the answer is to buy nothing.

How we make money, and who we are. MySmallBusiness.us is operated by Aurea Growth Partners Consulting Services LLC. We earn money three ways, and we label which one applies on every single review. (1) We own it: the business funding service is operated by Aurea Growth Partners Consulting Services LLC itself, and BizRep A.I. is operated by Business Reputation Pro LLC, which shares common ownership — when we review those, we are reviewing ourselves and we profit if you buy. (2) Commission: some links are affiliate links and we may be paid at no additional cost to you. (3) Nothing: many products we cover pay us nothing at all. Compensation never changes a score, because the rubric is published at /methodology and every score breaks down into it — but you should treat anything labelled “we own this” as advertising and verify it independently.

Not advice. Nothing on this site is legal, tax, investment, insurance or financial advice. Figures in our calculators and articles are illustrative estimates built from published industry averages and the providers' own stated numbers; your results will differ. Consult a qualified professional before making a financial, benefits, or borrowing decision.

Funding. Aurea Growth Partners Consulting Services LLC is a service that connects businesses to independent merchant cash advance providers. We are not a lender, broker, or financial institution and do not originate, underwrite, or provide MCAs. MCAs are not loans; they are purchases of future receivables repaid as a percentage of sales, plus factor rates and fees. Approval, amounts, terms and rates depend on provider criteria and are not guaranteed. Leads submitted may be shared with third-party providers for evaluation. Residents of regulated states are entitled to disclosures from providers at the time of offer.

Email. Commercial email from this domain complies with CAN-SPAM: accurate headers and subject lines, clear identification as advertising, a valid postal address, and one-click unsubscribe honored promptly. Reply STOP to any SMS to opt out.
